Poppyfields

Poppyfields is situated in Mickleover, two miles west from the centre of Derby. With a population of 18,000, Mickleover is a tranquil village that was first recorded as a settlement in Saxon times. It has many period buildings adding to its picturesque setting.

The village is home to two golf clubs and a sports centre with active gymnastics, archery, chess and football clubs. There is also an accomplished amateur theatre group.
